The objective of this Course:
The basic aim of this course is to ignite the student’s curiosity in Science and Mathematics and lay a solid foundation for Class X, XI & XII. We believe that if a child is able to connect his academic studies with his observations in the world around him, he can develop a deeper knowledge of the subject and excel in his studies.
How do we achieve this?
We start our course from the very beginning, i.e. from the birth of the universe. Gradually we progress to the present world where we want the students to be in awe of the numerous miracles happening around them daily (which may seem quite ordinary to a layman), and then become curious about these occurrences. Through our program we want the students to realize the beauty of science, and how efficiently the natural and man-made world around them is functioning based on a few simple Laws
Our program is heavily aided by videos and experiment to ensure effective understanding of the various notions. The class atmosphere is on the playful side with lots of group discussions and presentations. Many of the concepts covered and experiments done in this program, in an easy to understand manner, form the crux of the syllabus in their academic years to come. It is observed that this visual and on-hand experience makes them more receptive to the concepts when and as it comes in their future curriculum.
We give special emphasis to learning through experiments. Few of the experiments and projects are done by students are listed below along with their purpose:
Apart from the experiments related to their academics, we also dedicate one project which can be socially helpful. Last year we made a ‘Glove & Shoe for Blind’ which sensed obstacles and pits in the path.
The basic aim of this course is to lay a solid foundation for Class X, XI & XII. The course will be divided in two semesters as per the class IX syllabus. We explore and establish concepts in the given topics which may not be touched by the school books but serve as the strong foundation for the student’s upcoming academic life. This will enable them to do well in school as well as start the preparation towards future Class X, XI, XII. The subjects covered by us will be - Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
Our program is aided by videos and experiment to ensure effective understanding of the various notions. It is observed that this visual and on-hand experience makes them more receptive to the concepts when and as it comes in their future curriculum.
We have divided this course into two phases for the whole session.
Phase I :
In this phase, basic concepts and problem-solving techniques of all the chapters are covered in detail in the class. Each chapter is followed by (1) a chapter assignment which carries marks and (2) a chapter test in the following week. If a student’s performance in a chapter is not satisfactory, the student is called for extra remedial classes.
Phase II :
In this phase, students are made to take multiple full-length tests. These tests help them plan and time their paper for the actual midterm and final Exam. These tests also help them revise all the chapters and eradicate doubts if any. Each test is followed by its analysis and discussion in class.
This course is designed to help students achieve the highest levels of excellence and grades in their Class X Board Exams. The subjects covered by us will be - Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Our curriculum focuses on Class X CBSE syllabus only. We explore and establish concepts in the given topics which may not be touched by the school books but serve as the strong foundation for the student’s upcoming academic life.

Foundation Class X:
This course is offered free of charge to selected students at Neev Centre.
This course targets the fundamentals required in XIth and XIIth for taking up Entrance Exams in future. Concepts covered in this course is not chapter specific but can be applied throughout Class XI & XII. The topics covered are:
We have observed students having knowledge of the above concepts become comfortable in a wide range of chapters in Class XI & XII.
This course is only recommended to the students who are at ease with the Class X CBSE Board syllabus. These students are identified by us after observing ‘CBSE Board’ batch for a month. We feel that the time for such students should be utilized in making their future academic years less taxing.
Philosophy for Disha:
In class XI, a student moves to a new phase of academics where a much more intricate and deeper study of the subjects begins (as compared to the earlier classes). To build a successful career in academics, the depth of understanding and detail of concepts becomes all the more important. At Disha, we teach class XI syllabus with the focus of the above-mentioned ideology.
Our focus is on ensuring each student's weaknesses are addressed and everyone receives personal attention to be able to do their best.
We employ digital media to maintain communication channels between students, their peers and seniors, and their teachers to get any doubts clarified.
The number of students in a classroom is limited to 25 so that the teachers can focus on each individual.
Philosophy for Lakshya:
At NeevClasses, class XII is taken as a very important and determining year student's career. At this competitive age, preparation under a timeline is the key to success. Lakshya is a one-year classroom contact program designed to cover full IIT/AIEEE syllabus in conjugation with school syllabus. The whole course is divided into four phases with targeted milestones.
Targeted Approach towards the Success:
Phase I (Master the School):15th March to 30th June
During this phase, only school level concepts are covered followed by assignments and chapter test. Students will be intimated with our classroom schedule, the deadline for assignments, and chapter wise tests. At the end of Phase I a Mega test will be conducted based on which the batch will be separated into two groups targeting IIT-JEE and AIEEE/CET/COMEDK/VIT respectively.
Phase II (Clear the Concepts): 1st July to 30th October
In this Phase, the whole IIT/AIEEE (XI+XII) syllabus is divided into four equal parts which will be covered in the months of July, August, September, and November. To follow-up with the development of the students, part tests will be conducted on last Sundays of July, August, September, and October.
Phase III (Rise up to the challenge): 1st November to 31st January
During this phase student’s participation is increased in problem-solving. During this phase, the full-length revision will start followed by full-length tests on each Sunday for the respective groups.
Phase IV (Hit the target): 1st February to 31st May
In this phase, the students will be provided with full-length mock tests of the exams they would be taking one after the other. We will start with the Board exam mock test followed by mock tests for the different entrance exams.
Student Clinic@ 05:30 PM
This is an innovative mechanism to work with the weakness of a student at chapter/phase level. If the performance is not satisfactory in the assignment/Chapter Test/Phase Test the student will be called for an extra class at 05:30 pm apart from his regular class at Neev. This is also the personal space wherein a student can interact one on one with the faculty to address his/her queries/doubts. It is highly recommended that the student should come prepared to utilize this time.
Feedback:
Neev has a web-based mechanism to provide feedback. Each student will be provided with a unique user id and password at the commencement of course. Marks for all assignments and tests will be uploaded on our website -www.neevclasses.com - which can be accessed through the user account.
Parents are requested to login to their account regularly and monitor the chapter/phase wise performance of the student.
